For my university project, I had the opportunity to design a book focused on the lost alphabet Baybayin from the Philippines. In crafting this book, my intention was to delve into pre-colonial Filipino culture, specifically before the arrival of the Spanish.

Throughout the pages of the book, I sought to incorporate various aspects of Filipino heritage and traditions that are often overlooked or overshadowed by colonial influences. From the intricate Baybayin script to depictions of indigenous customs and folklore, every element was carefully curated to provide readers with a deeper understanding of their roots.

My ultimate goal in designing this book was to offer a sense of connection and belonging to fellow Filipinos who may feel disconnected from their cultural heritage. By celebrating the richness and diversity of pre-colonial Filipino culture, I hope to inspire a newfound appreciation and pride in our shared identity.
